I love the trans-siberian orchestra! I listen mostly to light religious music (i.e. no the kind they play on the radio), but I listen to Christian radio as well...

Carrie Underwood annoys me... her song "Jesus Take the Wheel" started last Christmas and has been playing on all radio stations ever since!! Although she is pretty good...

I like classical music when I'm sleeping, but otherwise it annoys me unless it's live...

Not for me. I like to analize it. (Figure out who wrote it, what period it was written in, the name of the piece, its tempo, its rythem, etc.) Sometimes, classical music is the only thing that keeps me sane.

To appear sane in an insane world, one must be insane. One of my counselors said that, or something like it. I haven't really ever listened to any classical music, at least not that I can think of.

Not that I would say they put on a Christian appearance I like Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) as well. I took my wife to see their concert in Phoenix, it was something else as an old man might say.

The TSO is good! I also like all types of Christian! Artists like Newsboys, Newsong, Big Daddy Weave, MercyMe, and Casting Crowns are some of my favorites :o

:o Same here, I enjoy a variety of classical music. Live music is alway interesting, but being classically trained pianist I enjoy analyzing recordings also.

I guess as far as music goes I like it to bring me closer to God. Because there are so many other things in this world to draw a person away from Christ. I like variety and depth in songs. :) Homemade music is the best though.

Classical all the way! 8) although i do like TSO and Bond aswell. I also am not against the the more modern stuff, but i am more selective in what i listen to in that category.

Depends on the song, but usually not... barely any "popular" music...

I don't really like anything but classical. I have yet to find a another genre that is expressive and spiritual. I am not saying that classical music is spiritual, in fact most isn't, but I don't believe any of it will be a stumbling block to me.

I'd actually have to say i love country. I can't get enough of it. I used to listen to rock n roll, and still do a little, but after spending so much time at rodeos and around country folk, counrty two-stepped it's way in.

I have already posted this, I think, but I enjoy "classical" music. Some people find that odd, but I personally think it is the best type of music.

lol, I'm a mix. Mostly though, it's country. After that, some gospel, Josh Groban, some soft rock, and some rap. Oh, and some classic rock---that's the best kind!

I love music. But I like so many kinds......I like anything that is Christian, that about sums it up, but every once in a while I will find a song that I like that is not Christian, but mostly I stick to the Christian stuff.

That is how I am as well. Except I love classical as well. Wolfmoon, I prefer to listen to him while driving.
