If you are looking for additional resources to help plan and teach the Adventist Heritage portions of the Friend and Companion IA, the Atlantic Union Conference has a set of resources for their Church-School teachers (
http://teacherbulletin.org/). Within these are a five-part series called Lest We Forget, which traces the origins of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, placing it in its historical and social context. These are great resources, designed for teaching and classroom use, and would also work as part of Pathfinders, AY or Sabbath School classes.
