yes... it can be somewhat normal break pads to squeak in wet or muddy conditions. But otherwise they should stay silent. Hopefully you can get them to quite down. ;)

If your pads are rubbing metal on metal, you need to change them out quick! or you run the risk of ruining your rims, and that's much more expensive than getting new brake pads

How's the biking been going for everyone this winter? I've been very busy with college, but I've enjoyed getting outside on my bike several times. I went in the snow when we has some here. Biking is snow is lots of fun :)

I had a few short, but nice rides this week. If it would just get a little warmer, maybe 5-6 degrees.

well... if it makes you feel better, it just started to get a little chilly around here again, so I am back to having to use my trainer if I want to ride :(

Amen! Although the snow is fun, especially with your MTB, I am ready for some warmer weather as well.

what makes it even worse is that the humidity here makes the temp cut right through to your bones! I feel kinda weird looking for winter cloths in mid feb.! at least in the next 10 days it is suppose to hit in the higher sixties! right now the wind is whats killing me, it is almost (and sometimes is) enough to blow you over!

Wow, you're expecting 60s? We're expecting 10s here for the next few days...

I haven't been doing a very good job of doing regular biking. I am once again looking at upgrading my mountain bike because it is hard for me to climb well with it.

What my family likes to do is, we drive into our major city and bring our bikes, then we ride around the city and go to a bunch of fun eating places and stores :)

That's really cool! I don't normally like to ride in big cities though... too many cars.

I still like the open roads of the country better than a city... just easier to ride!

certain cities may be fun to ride in once or twice, but I agree with rider that it is more fun out on open roads.
