What's more fun than that is sliding all the way to class in my worn-out Nikes that have zero tread. Riding a bike in the snow is fun too!

Actually the ice did start melting here today... walking up and down my street was like walking through a rain storm because of all the ice/water falling/dripping out of the trees!

I live in a very small town near the Walla Walla, Washington area. I like it, lots of wheat fields and combines...lol.

That reminds me somewhat of my grandfather's place. The only difference is that he lives in up state New York. Welcome to the forum SwimChic.

Hi swimchic! Our cat's complaining cuz I've been tossing her out into the snow---or else she'd be complaining about beings stuck inside all day! :smt081

We got some snow too, not too much but some. We are supposed to get more sometime in the next few days, I think. All of our animals are outside animals, so we don't have worry about it :D .

I kind of wish I had an inside cat, but then I think of all the extra little things you would have to do and I remember why we don't...lol :D . It is it sad, today almost all the snow melted....That was not in the forecast:)

I know exactly what you mean SwimChic. I have three outdoor cats. sometimes i wish they were indoors also. We have about 4 inches of snow right now. I'm looking forward to some fun sledding! :)

lol, I highly wouldn't suggest it----unless they're the kind that can constantly amuse themselves without killing the interior of the house! :smt005

Welcome NatLiddle! I do hope that this forum proves to be very useful to you. I'm been to Germany. It is a wonderful place to visit and spend a break. As for this break, I want school to start again after all of the long driving hours.

Newbury Park, CA...but go to club at Thousand Oaks (btw, no one answered this question from way back...'does anyone go to keene, tx?' well, i went to adventurers there when i was little...and did some pathfinder honors too. I grew up there, but now i'm in CA.)
Edit-
oh! and Wilkommen to all the new people (specifically the germany person...sorry, forgot your screen name...i'm horrible with names anyways! lol.) I spent 6 weeks learning german in Austria this summer at an Adventist college/high school over in europe. that was fun. German food can be so good sometimes.

No, but I've been there. It's a beautiful country. I enjoyed my month there. Welcome to the Teen Zone!

I live in Michigan close to Andrews University. We had several blizzards this year and rarely any snow days.

I'm from Chicago, born and raised. Summers here are perfect...they more than make up for our cold, windy winters. I wish it was summer all year round. That's why I think I want to move to California when I get older.
