Yeah Mitch... it does say in three days... but I didn't want to take three days to ride 100 miles... plus I just wanted to get a century under my belt. It took us all day, but was well worth the effort.

Tips - Drink a lot of stuff, juice, water, powerade
Eat a lot of energy stuff, bars, gels, jelly beans, anything to keep you energized.

Good luck with your attempt :D

Yea, I can't wait tell the requirements are out for the new honors. Digital Photography sounds fun! It is really exciting they have a Wakeboarding honor now too :!: :!:

Thanks for the tips! :D I"ll have to do a century someday!! I'm sure I would want to get a good road bike for that though... (I use my dads road bike)

There are so many cool honors to choose from. I think that one of my favorites right now is kayaking. :P

Hey, give me a break... I love doing what I do. And to me... that is not a problem.

I have other honors I like. The first aid honors are really handy. I think everyone should complete all of those, and keep their skills up to date.

Those are good honors. Do you have any other favorites. I think from the ones that you posted, I would choose backpacking as my favorite. Come to think about it, quite a few people here seem to like backpacking.

I love backpacking also VP. Such a wonderful way to get out in God's nature. My uncle packs Lamas. That is a cool and easy way to go also.

The only honors you listed wildernessfun that I don't quite have is Adv. Cycling. I've gotten close to 100 miles before but still haven't taken the time to make that trek. I want to do it soon.

You do realize that you only have to do the 100 miles over a three day trip if you want... that's only 33 miles a day, hardly anything to bat an eye at.

You can do it, just set the time aside.

I like the Arts and Crafts honors the best. My favorite to teach are Braiding, Braiding Advanced, and Origami

Wow, I have a ton of favorites....I don't think I can name them all. All of the honors that I have heard of sound interesting and fun. But the knot honor was a little annoying :) I am not a big knot person...

Yeah, the knot honor takes a lot of work, our club is currently doing it, I'm helping to teach it. It can be really hard if you don't have good instructions.

as far as the knot honor goes, I agree with sally1014422 make sure you have somebody who really knows what they are doing! it may not be everybody's favorite honor, but I like it because if its done right it is really useful!

My favorite honor is probably.......hmmm.....let me think I've done so many okay it's Drilling and Marching because I was on the drill team several years ago and was an assistant last year with it. even though I was young I was the only one who had experience even my pathfinder director didn't know a lot about it. I'm not in that club anymore but in my home club. I hope to do it again or at oshkosh this year because my director knows that I'm really good at it.
