The fundraising ideas already posted, and I'm sure of more to come, are good for raising funds in general for both major events and for additional operating expenses. However, I have found from experience that the very best way to raise major funds for say an international camporee, every 5 years, is to have all of your Pathfinders write to all of their friends, relatives, church members, service providers, etc. to request help in order to accomplish their objective. Nothing else that I have tried has come close in this regard and we wouldn't have made it to these camporees without it. If anyone would like a copy of the letter that I use as a sample, for future reference when the time is right, let me know and I'll be happy to share.

This is a great fundraising plan. I mailed out about 120 letters for the FOF camporee and raised $700. It was well worth the time and effort, and stamps.

Charles,

I tried twice but I was unable to deliver e-mail to the address given. Please send me another e-mail address so that I can get this to you successfully.

Thanks,

hardworkin1

Posting email addresses isn't encouraged. Use the email button at the bottom of the user's post instead. That is a much safer method.

Is anyone still have this Campaign Letter. If so, can you send it to me? I never receive one and would like to show it to my clubs for the coming Camporee.
