I would like to ask that you all pray that my fiance finds a job. She graduated in December with an accounting job, but hasn't been able to find a job yet.

Here's an update on the situation. My wife got a job, but it only lasted for 2 weeks. She was disappointed about leaving, but the job wasn't advertised well. She's now back to searching for a job again. She had an interview about a week ago, and she has one in a week or two. I'd like to ask for your continued prayers as she keeps looking.

We're also having trouble finding an apartment. We are house sitting for someone right now, but that will end the middle of July. Since we're living on my salary alone right now, we can't afford much right now. It's been hard to find an apartment that is affordable enough.

What a leap of faith God has entrusted us to. Both my wife and I have jumped from various jobs due to various circumstances. I'm now full time at a very different job, and she is working for an accounting temp agency. However, her current assignment is over, and the agency doesn't have another one available yet. I'm currently almost through the hiring process for a paying fire department. It's my dream job, but it would mean moving about 2 hours from where I currently live.

Please continue to keep my wife & myself in your prayers.

On a happier note, my wife & I are expecting our first child in November!

Congrats, VP on your expected child! :) I'm sure that is very exciting.

Thanks for the prayers everyone. I know I didn't ever finish this story. My wife finally got a job working for ASI at the NAD office. An extra blessing is that she has been allowed to work remotely, while we raise our child.

I haven't had as much luck with employment. I was working in a warehouse at the last time I posted. More recently, I moved to North Carolina to work as a business & operations manager for a newly started company. Unfortunately, all of the work done by this company was contract based. My boss recently was told that all of his contracts were not going to be renewed. This left me jobless again.

I would like to ask you all to continue to pray for my family, as we don't know what God has in store for us next. I'm hoping to find a job that involves ministry. I love working with our church youth, and I wish that I could find something that would allow me to do that in a more hands-on way.

Praise the Lord, I'm now employed again! Thank you all for your prayers!
