I"ll be praying for you. I know I was quite nervous about my driving test. The lady that tested me was really nice though. I'm sure you'll do a good job, study hard and God will help you!

I hope that you did well! I know that some times those people that do the tests are mean on purpose, and try to fail people! If at first you do not suceed... try again!

I talked to her last night at PF and she said that when she got there they were done testing for the day... she said she'd probably try again today. I prayed for you again this morning, and I hope you are able to take it soon!

Congrats!!! I you'll love the freedom and all of that... that is until your parents start using you as "taxi service" or "I need something at the store, will you go get it for me?" etc... But still its good to have, and I'm glad that you got it!

Congratulations! I am glad that you passed. Now just remember to be careful at all times. You never know when the unexpected might crop up. Take it from someone how has continually learned the hard way.

Maybe I'm weird...? I kinda like shuttling...

AH! It's snowing here today (lol, two days ago it was in the 60s)... that means no more driving for me until spring!! :( My parents don't trust me on ice. But I took my driving test on ice for crying out loud!

LOL. That's the point. It was a driving test, someone was with you. LOL
Ask your mom, probably, if you can take her to do the shopping, just to show her how responsible you can be driving on ice. Otherwise then you need to pray for nice weather between now and the spring.

I remember one of the times I had to drive in snow. I was going to be late for work and my dad "needed to pull me up the driveway, until it leveled out, in his 4x4 truck. I go impatient so i just floored it up the driveway until I got up to the top of the hill. My parents had chain for the car, but there wasn't enough snow to use them.

Now I don't have to worry so much about adverse weather conditions. I have a 4x4 Jeep Wrangler! The trick to driving in the snow is to go slower and add time to every move that you make. Don't slam on the brakes! Even with "anti-lock brakes," your tires can lock up and you can loose tracktion. If it is really bad, I will leave my house 10-30 minutes early so that I can take the time to slow down and be more careful. I can also deflate my Jeep's tires so that they are wider and provide more traction. This trick will work with any vehicle.

Yeah... gotta love Jeeps... I just need to get some bigger wheels for mine...

We don't get much snow around here VP, but mud... we have lots of that!!!

Just remember to always drive responsibly and your parents will develop trust in your skills.
