From email I received

Dear Pathfinder Leaders and Staff,

The following prayer request for one of our TLT Pathfinders, Sherena Marvin, from the Kalamazoo Kampers club has been brought to our attention by her club director and teacher. Please mention this to your club members and hold her up in prayer.

Thank you,

Edie Ellis
Pathfinder Secretary
Michigan Conference

from the included email
Today (Tuesday) we found out that Sherena Marvin (a student at KJA last year) was in a serious motorcycle accident last night. She is in the trama center at Bronson Hospital with severe head trama. She has two spots in her brain with hematomas, a ruptured kidney, a sprained ankle, a black eye, and a number of scrapes and cuts. She is currently on a breathing tube and was unresponsive as of 4:00 p.m. They are monitoring brain swelling and have given her 3 pints of blood.

Sorry about the delay in news, but I want to get the story straight. She was in a coma and not doing well. Her parents were told she would be a vegetable, if she made it at all. Things were not looking good. Her grandfather felt especially impressed to pray for a miracle and that is what has occurred. Slowly she started to respond, and show signs of improving. Now she is walking with a walker, and speaking. After Thanksgiving she will be transferred to a rehabilitation facility in Grand Rapids, MI. Thank you for all your prayers, I am sure she and her family would appreciate your continued prayers.
