Last week my cousin had three of her fingers cut off in some farm equipment. The doctors were not able to reattach her fingers. She is home from the hospital now, but I would like everyone to keep her in my prayers as she continues to recover.

I will do that.

Is this one of your cousins that I know?

Ouch! That's too bad... I will pray for her recovery and learning how to get along with only 7 fingers.

So were they all on one hand? (I am assuming so...)

Yes, prayer is a powerful thing.

Wow, what a tragedy!

Has she started Physical Therapy yet?

If so, how is it going for her?

How is she handling the "new reality"?

Will keep her in prayers.

Ouch!!! That's terrible. Which fingers were they? I'll keep her in my prayers.

She lost her middle three fingers. Her thumb and pinky were not touched.

My mom was talking to the family not too long ago and figured out that some people around where they live think that there is a good possibility for prosthetics. So there may be some good news to come... we will just have to wait and see.

Well, she has all of her dressings off and is apperently doing quite well! The good news is that most of the fingers weren't cut off below the first joint. Please continue to pray, and praise the lord, though... you can't ever have enough prayer!
