We just set up our club website and we are looking for some feedback. It is currently at a temporary location until we get our whole church site up. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. The address is:

http://desertskymedia.com/pathfinders/index.html

Thank you all in advance.

Excellent work on the Pathfinder site. Needs more areas for what you do (outreach, mission, honors, meetings).

Hmm, do you mean what we have been doing? Like, what outreach programs we have been participating in. What honors we have\currently working on, etc? Thank you for your feedback, it is much appreciated.

You have a very sharp looking site, with easy navigation, modern pages, good pics, good loading time, a GREAT FOF VIDEO, and a really nice TLT portion of the site. :D :D :D

You've made it easy to keep the site current, (This is the BIGGEST CHALLENGE for clubs). Please DO keep it current :!: so that your kids can stay informed. :!:

Let me know at webmaster@pathfindersonline.org when you have it to its permanent location, so that I can highlight it for "club website of the month" on the pathfindersonline.org NAD Pathfinder website.

Blessings,

Mark O'Ffill

Thanks Mark. I am keeping it updated everytime there is a change. The challenge is getting the parents and Pathfinders to actually look at it! I will get you the location when it is at it's permanent location. Thanks,

The site looks good. Thanks for posting the pictures. It's always good to see photos of Pathfinder and Staff members you know. Keep up the good work.

Great website!

I'm not sure if this thread was for clubs to post links to their websites or not, but here's my clubs website:

Great design, looks like you keep it updated. That's the most important you know, having current content. . .

The pictures seem to be only of MAJOR bi-yearly events. What about club nights, Service activities, game night, honors weekend, etc.?

Is there something that your TLTs do?

Currently our club does not have a TLT program. There has been discussion about starting one, but it hasn't happened as of yet.

Yes, the pictures are primarily of major events. The miscellaneous album does have pictures from club meetings, and other special events although not a lot.

Thanks for the input, I will definitely work on getting more, or asking others to get some too. ;)

Is the site still there I went to "http://www.waiilatpu.org/" and got this search table thing... We have a site too but it seems to be temporarily down... :( it would be at http://viennasda.org/pathfinders

As far as the desert valley site it does indeed look very good!

The album is actually done in Photoshop automatically. So if you have access to a copy of Photoshop you just need to go to File then Automate and it's in there. Then I did basic html for linking to the different albums. Let me know if you have any questions.

Heh everyone,

Are there any pathfinder clubs in Florida near the kissimmee area? I am a fourth year TLT and part of staff at my old church and I recently moved to Florida. I have extensive training in a fields of the pathfinder club. In my old church, I was a counselor, Instructor, and the Secretary of the club. I am very well know in my conference for my work and I work very hard. If anyone knows of any clubs please contact me at my email address Dagenius609@yahoo.com

Here is the address for the Arkansas - Louisiana Web Site.

I know there are other Conferences with web sites out there.
Please post the addresses. It would be great to share the good information on these sites.

Hey Eric... i'm a Pathfinder Director in Altamonte Springs, FL. Thats about 45 minutes north of Kissimmee. I would encourage you to check out Kissimmee Church (english) or Kissimmee Spanish. Both are good clubs. I know the director in Kissimmee (english) her name is Reina. They were very good at the State Camporee held last weekend. They got 1st place in Camp and Uniform inspection. If you want to check out my club... even though it's too far... check out our website (a work in progress)
http://www.forestcitypathfinders.com Our club is one of the few clubs in Florida that has started the TLT program this year.

Been working on the club's new website for a while now in my spare time, but it's coming along nicely. Staff, pathfinders, and parents will be able to login and review what the kids have been doing and need to do, also leave personal messsages to each other and see unit specific upcoming events along with other things like which honor/classwork requirements they have completed or need to complete, along with percentage completed. Each pathfinder and their parent will also be able to see where they stand for points for the year.
