Thanks to Karen Reed for this link:
http://southernunioncamporee2007.info/index.html

This site contains a lot of information about the Southern Union Camporee being held in High Springs, Florida.

That link is a very useful one. I hope that more information will be available soon though.

I'm from North Pacific Union. Our camporee is going to be at Discovery Bay, WA is September 13-16, 2007.

This year the NPUC Camporee is hosted by the Washington Conference. You can learn more about it at their website. http://www.washingtonconference.org/article.php?id=29

Speakers include James Black (NAD Pathfinder Director) and Jonatan Tejel (World Pathfinder Director)

I was wondering when that was...I am going to try and come if I can get time off from my internship! Our club isn't going, but maybe I can find someone to stay with while I'm there. :)

It should be a great experience!!

I was wondering if anybody can give me the coordinates for the campground at Discovery Bay where the NPUC Camporee is going to be held? This would be really helpful for those of us who are guided by GPS units. The coords for the front gate would really be nice.

Thanks and God Bless.
Walt

Here are some coordinates for where the North Pacific Union Pathfinder Camporee is going to be held. they are not as accurate as I would like to give you, but they should work for input to your GPS device. In any event, they will get you very close. You may need to convert to Lat/Long format but here they are.

47 58' 45.92" N
-122 53' 47.59" W

Hope this was helpfull.

Thanks and we'll see how lost I get on the way.
No, really, thanks. I put them in my Street Atlas and they are within 554.9 feet of 922 Uncas Road, which is the address listed on the website.
If I get the van that close I can stand on top and see the tents. Oh, yeah, we'll make it.

Thanks again.

^^ well you ended up driving a bus for my club. Thanks again so much WalterJohn! The NPUC Camporee was a very awesome experience. I think my club had a lot of fun. Especially exploring around the Discovery Bay area.
