According to the Florida site it is scheduled for Oct. 26-28 2006 and the location is "to be announced."

I'm curious on where it will be held. There of course rumors floating around down here in Florida, but there hasn't been confirmation either way. One of the "rumors" is going back to Cherokee, the site previous to Kuluqua. Stay Tuned.

Learned just this past weekend at Gulf States Camporee from Allan Williamson that Southern Union Camporee will be held at Kulaqua October of 2007.

Does anyone have any information about this event (i.e. cost, registration, etc.)? My local conference hasn't received anything about it yet.

I received the Union Camporee poster at Pathfinder Leadership Conference. The theme is "Called to Serve."

Early bird registration is $50 - received by July 1, 2007. All others are $65.

Our club is excited about attending.

The Southern Union is working on getting a website with information about the Southern Union Camporee. There's not a lot of information yet but the information available so far is at:

No WildernessFun... Kulaqua is horrible for biking... I already thought of it...

I'll be there, unless college really messes me up this fall, hoping not cause I really want to go.

I just found out that this event is still looking for volunteers to teach honors. If you are interested, please contact them!

If you are interested in teaching an honor or planning an activity contact your Conference Pathfinder director. Each Conference has been asked to teach two honors and coordinate two activities during the Camporee.

At this point wildernessfun, you will need to talk to Joe White or John Swafford. I would suggest Joe White. I will give you the information and reasons for contacting Joe White next time I see you at home. (Don't you just love it when it is that easy!)

Has anyone heard about how the Drilling & Marching procedure is going to be organized?

I talked to Alan Williamson this past weekend and the activity hasn't been completely finalized yet. As soon as it is the information will be posted on the website.

How are some of you (teachers) going to layout some of your honors for camporee? I'm a little stumped at how I should make a test out of the Cetaceans honor...Is there an easy way to do this?
