Everyone has been telling about oshkosh, I've visited http://www.camporee.org, and I've watched the promotional video. So I'm really starting to get excited about it (the International camporee), but I want more info, I can't enough, tell me more!

well... would you like for us to tell you about past camporee's that have been there? that is about all the extra info that we could give you... but there is no way to know what exactly it will be like, or if it will be as the past ones have been!

The Newsletter is every other month at this point. The last one was for February/March and came March 4. I expect the next one around the first of May.

I did get the one for May. Yesterday I got the June Newsletter. Very interesting, specially the Offsite Activities

Dear Pathfinders Leaders,

Greetings from Brazil! My name's Liney Rodrigues and I'm an Associate Director of the Southern Cross Pathfinder Club here in Brasilia, Brazil's Capital.

Our Club is one of the best South American Pathfinder Clubs and we are proud to have one of the largest pathfinders club Headquarters in the World!

We are planning to take around 60 pathfinders and staff to Oshkosh next year, it is a very big challenge to us.

We are looking for an American Pathfinder Club to be our partner in the meals during the Camporee! We know that the Camporee are going to provide the International Clubs with meals and tents.

We are going to take there our own tents to have our own campsite, however, we wouldn't like to split our club into some smaller groups to have the meals at the host clubs (according to the CTSC web site, groups with more than 12 people would be distributed to more than one host club).

So, please help us, we need to find a Pathfinder Club that is going to be able to prepare meals to extra 60 people! Course, we not asking for free food, we intend to pay for it!

Hope you guys have got the point, we just want to let our people together!

Please visit our website:

Thanks a lot!!

I understand your concerns with having your club split up. I admire you for coming to Oshkosh all the way from Brazil too! I'll be honest with you though: a club willing to host and haul the extra food for 60 people may be hard to find. But I also want to wish you the best of luck in your search!

I know the posts are from a few years ago but a couple people mentioned the theme being chosen for CtS and I was wondering if anyone remembers what the other themes to chose from were.

I was looking back through my email to see if I could find an old newsletter or something, but I can't... So I guess I won't be much help here.

We would, but we are sponsoring clubs from England. Around 200 of them.

On the Camporee website there is now a list of 10 potential theme songs. You can listen and vote which one you think should be the Courage to Stand Theme song. Take the time to email your comments and suggestions to the song committee. http://www.camporee.org/view.php?item_id=4
