How do we involve staff that are pregnant? Do we simply move them to the kitchen, or should we politely suggest that they take a break so that they can focus on their family well-being during this time? What if they weren't inclined to do kitchen work, but certainly may not be suited to every task that they used to be able to do?
How do we work with those who have a very young child and still want to be an active staff member? Maybe the staff member did take a break from Pathfinders while pregnant, but now they want to come back and be an active staff member again. Now they have a young one who will need a large amount of their time. How do you find an appropriate position for them?
This person may, or may not, have a spouse involved in Pathfinders. This could also make a difference with how you place such a willing volunteer.

I would not suggest sending them to the kitchen or asking them (even politely) to take a break. If they are willing, and if they are strong Christians, then I would let them decide on their own what their level of commitment will be.
As for how to use them - I'd use them just like I would use anyone else. They will let you know that they can't take kids on the roller coaster or heave sacks of rice onto the back of a truck.
