Right up front, I am going to admitt I am over 40. I would like to get my Voyager and Guide and the advance classes for the others. To get these (I earned my Friend through Ranger under the old system) I need to do Part III of Health and Fitness which states - Complete one of the fitness test for your age.

As far as I can tell the President's Physical Fitness Award does not extend to 40 something year olds. They have an active lifestyle award, but that is not a test. What has anyone else done?

The requirement is to complete one of the tests - it doesn't say how well you have to do (other than to improve). The target numbers they give are for "winning" the challenge.

I always engage in the test right along side the youngin's (I too am over 40). I don't know how much longer I can do that, but I don't usually come in last place.

Can you send me the Presidential Physical Fitness website. I have a friend that want to do it and he asked me for the website. I thought I had it in my favorites but I'm not.
