Hey, everyone! this is kind of random, but today is National Pie Day, National Handwriting Day (my personal favourite!!), and Measure Your Feet Day (no kidding, it's a real holiday!). So have fun eating pie while handwriting the measurements of your feet!

LOL! I actually didn't do anything yesterday...

But today is National Beer Can Appreciation Day (no, that's not a joke either--I don't think anyone here will be celebrating it! ) and Compliment Day (Hey, that's a good one!)

How about National Pull a Beer Can out of a Cave Day? I was doing that last weekend. It was fun, but amazing how trashy caves can get.

Can you ever truthfully say " It's opposite day"?

I love pondering statements like that... If you say, "It's Opposite Day," you are either lying, because you're telling the truth, or you're telling the truth, because you're lying. Either it really is opposite day and you're not celebrating it or it isn't opposite day and you're lying, or you could be telling the truth by celebrating early.

On the other hand, if you say "It isn't Opposite Day", you're either telling the truth because it really isn't, or you're telling lying, but because it's opposite day you say the opposite of what you mean, and therefore you're telling the truth.

Bottom line: Whether you say it is or isn't opposite day, you could either be telling the truth or lying. No matter what you say, the person you're talking to has to know whether it is or isn't for themselves, because otherwise they can't possibly know what you mean. In both statements, 2 out or three options point to truth, therefore no matter what you say you are most likely telling the truth. There are still, however, two truths with opposite meanings, so it is still impossible to know what you mean unless the audience knows for themselves...

Just my musings... I like to think about things like this, yeah, I'm weird

You know, most people can never truthfully say"I've never lied in my life", because everyone has lied at least once, sadly.

On our way to our weekly 'family basketball game' last night, we stopped at the grocery store and bought a chocolate cake mix to bake while we played. So we did get a chocolate cake after all...

Today is....

 National Blueberry Pancake Day
 Ernie's Birthday
 National Kazoo Day
 Daisy Day

And I know that someone already mentioned Fun At Work Day, but I have down that it's today also...

Hope your's is the greatest!

EDIT: wrong day, those 'holidays' are actually today (the 30th), not yesterday
