Hi kica, and welcome to the forum!

I am in NE (Nebraska) as you can see from my prof. and my club's name is Trailblazers. We have a member ship of around 40, with 10 TLTs. I love drilling, camping, honors, and just about everything else!

Oh, I guess you don't have them by that name in Brazil, huh?

TLT stands for Teen Leadership Training, or Teen Leader in Training, depending on the word form you need to use. It's a program that takes highschool-age pathfinders and trains them to be future church leaders (aka pathfinder staff  ). It's a really great program.

So do you have something like the TLT program in your division?

In my division we have the counselors that train the pathfinders to be church leaders!
:) I'm a counselor...
I think it's like your TLT program.
You are a TLT?

Yep, sure am...

so it sounds like maybe you don't have an official program that you go through, but it's just part of the pathfinder program in general.

Welcome Kica!! I'm glad you found this forum. :)

I did all 4 years of TLT training. Not all teens do the program in my conference. We also have Junior Councilors. But I believe 17 is when that starts. The TLT program is awesome and very educational on how all the different parts of Pathfinders are run. It includes a councilor "apprentice" training time also. You can learn more here: http://www.pathfindersonline.org/pdf/classwork/tlt_manual_excerpts.pdf

Hello Kica, i know i am about the fourth person to say this, but welcome to the forum!!! I am a Master Guide in a club in Collegedale Tennessee. I am finishing up my fourth year of TLT work this year. Our club does a lot of camping and biking trips. We also have a lot of Conference sponsored events that we attend, such as TLT weekend, Teen challenge, and a few others. what do you do as far as conference sponsored events?

The TLT program looks to be very important for the pathfinders in your division.
How long it exists?

I just looked at the copyright date in the manual and the first one was in 1994... that sounds about right, because I think it's fairly new as far as Pathfinders goes.

:o , so the TLT program is relatively young in the US!
maybe it explain why the TLT program still didn't arrive to the Brazil :?
What a person should do for be a TLT :?:

I would suggest that your club order a TLT manual if you want to do the program, maybe at first just one so you can look it over, but if you really want to start the program you'll need one for each TLT. You can order it from AdventSource, the North American Division Distribution Center...

I am currently working on my second year...

there are four years, one for each year of high school, but whenever you start, no matter what grade you are in, you start at level 1

i am finnishing up my final year (4th level) of TLT  but if you ever have questions, feel free to ask them on the forum; either here or if you want there is a TLT forum aswell, this would also be a good place for you to find more info on the subject of TLT. here is a link to the TLT forum just in case you haven't already been there: http://www.pathfindersonline.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=28

Cool :!: :D
Probably exists many differences between our clubes!
For example, In Brazil the pathfinder's uniform have white shirt, green skirt (or legs), yellow scarf and a green cap. In Portugal the uniformes are blue shirt, dark blue legs or skirt and blue and yellow scarf.
So, how are your uniform?
