Yep...TMA here I come!!!!! So excited!!!!!!!

I think home-schooling last year was ok but not the best situation for me. Social interaction was at an all time low for me. Maybe Tri-Cities just isn't the place for me to home-school and have a social life!!!

Yeah I know what you mean. That's one reason why I love Pathfinders so much, it is one of my main social interaction times!! :D

I love being homeschooled, but I've always had lots of friends because my PE was being on the local swim team.

I'm homeschooled. I've been homeschooled by my mom since 4th grade, and this next school year I'll be in 9th. I praise God for her patience  I used to use the Alpha Omega (Switched on Schoolhouse) curriculum from 4th grade up to 7th, but this year my mom wanted to try something different. It's an online public school called Arizona Virtual Academy. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with it. This year for High School I don't know what I'll be doing. Either I'll be doing the same thing, but instead of having my mom as my teacher, I'll have a real teacher and a virtual classroom of students to sign into everyday. Or I'll be going back to my church's school for Highschool. I miss seeing my friends everyday, so I'm hoping that's what I'll be doing for school. But I have to say, I'm allitle nervouse about going into Highschool. It's a big thing

Yes, I am currently a home schooled pathfinder but in the fall I'll be going to a private school. So that will probably meen no more home schooling for me.

I used Alpha Omega for Spanish 1. This last year and currently I'm teaching piano lessons to a boy and his mom is tutoring me in spanish it's a lot more fun. :roll3:

Hi Ana! Welcome to the forum!! :-) It was fun seeing you at camp.

Right now, I am still finishing up my school for the past year. It seems to be going quite slow! :?

I am homeschooled (I'm a sophomore). I like it because I have time to hold down a job to save up for a car and college and stuff. (and I can do pathfinder stuff too:-)

I agree, that's one reason I chose not to go to school for high school - Pathfinders would get cut out of my schedule! And that would NOT be good. :P

Awesome, we are getting a lot of home schooled pathfinders on here.

I also home schooled all my life. I guess, now that I'm in Community College I've moved on. Right now it is just online courses so I'm still technically home schooled. :) I'm also finishing up a few more advanced courses I started in home schooling.

I only experienced homeschool for half a year (half of 5th grade). I actually think that is was nice, but my parents don't really have time to see me through all of that stuff, so we have stuck with adventist schools. Oh ya, i also have done a few correspondence courses for academy credit if that counts.

We were going to move to a place where they had an adventist school, but then we didn't.

i'm homeschooled.

its best to be homeschooled i think with pathfinderz cuz you can do more stuff without have to go to school with a school slip and all that. but then if you go tto a school then more kids are likely to come. : D

plus not to mention that if you are homeschooled, you get done faster and can play a lot more!

Greetings,

I don't usually write on this board (since I'm not a teen and wish to preserve your "teen space") but....

When I was a homeschooled Pathfinder I took the opportunity to earn 42 honors in one school year (since I had no homework, and was usually done by noon or so). Are you up to the challenge of expanding your knowledge?
