Those are really good. I have read them all several times. I really enjoy the Oddesey and Illiad by Homer. They are epic poems.

I really like the Shadow Creek Ranch series by Charles Mills. You can get them at the ABC. They are so much fun! :P

And of course, the Bible and EGW books are awesome!

In case you haven't noticed, VP is weird like that. Those are good poems... but personally, I probably couldn't stand reading that much poetry. I like the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and the Hobbit. 20,000 leagues under the sea, The Great Gatsby, To Kill a Mockingbird, Out of a Silent Planet ( Highly recommended if you haven't read it)... lots of fun stuff... :D

Amen. The Bible is the best. I like the SCR series as well. I don't think "Out of a Silent Planet" is a book I would be interested in though.

I know that this might be boring for some, but I just got a new book for my history collection. It talks about how military actions has shaped society over the centuries.

I also have a new poetry book (it focuses on the 20th century authors) that has quite a few really good poems. It has Robert Frost, Langston Huges, Edna St. Vincent Millay, and others. It is a really good book!

Anyone read the "Joseph: A Story" by Terry Fivash? That's a really good book.

I like mystery, LOTR and Narnia. They say truth is stranger than fiction... but I still like my fiction. As for poetry, I find it quite tedious to read.

Joseph is such a good book!!!!! I'm an avid reader! Although college has kept me from reading anything other than my textbooks and my bible. :( I'm not sure if I've read the Oddesey and Illiad...it's possible that I have. I really enjoy Edgar Allen Poe...he's kinda depressing I know...but he also has some good romantic stuff. (I'm a romantic sap)
I enjoy a good mystery though too. Something that will keep me reading until my eyes fall out.
If you want to read something really strange try...and some of you who are now in college most likely read it in high school...The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. that's some crazy stuff...kinda reminds me of Pirates of the Carribean 2.

That poem is pretty cool. I read it last semester for British Lit. class.

Ya, I never actually read them, but I had a friend who was in love with them in 6th and 7th grade, so I became very familiar with them... I love the movies thought
