Hey everyone. I was wondering what some of your favorite honors are. Mine are: Horse Husbandry, Horsemanship, Community Service, And Dog care and training.

Yep outdoors all the way.

Just a note... look for the topic before you post a new topic. Because there is already a topic for favorite honors in the teen zone. No big deal though, just keep it in mind in the future.

Like a lot of you, I like the outdoors honors, too. BUT, I have to say that the honors I enjoy the most are the arts & crafts honors.

I don't have a favorite, but I tend to dislike arts and crafts.

There is more to biology than the dissecting. But I do agree that dissecting is the worst part of a class.

Well, it does get a little messy (especially FISH!!!), and it's kinda disgusting to think that you are actually cutting open a body that used to live, breathe, and move... it's almost like intruding on something sacred. But it is very interesting to learn how God is working in the lives of these little creatures that most people could care less about. I suppose you can find God in any type of science, but He is most obvious in Biology, in my opinion.

Right now one honor my club is offering is Carpentry. It is really cool because we are putting a new twist to it. We are making my soon to be little sister a outside play house.

the backpacking honor was the favorite outdoor/group honor I've done, we played in the stream (it was cooollldd), one of the guys snored like a chainsaw, and cuz the guys wouldn't shush while we were trying to sleep, our counselor imitated a wild pig and scared them back to wonderful quiet! all the animal honors are my favorites......and also because they're so easy and I know more about them than anything else I know!
