In our conferance, each club orders their honor patches form advent source. I imagine they'd have to go through a Pathfinder club, or the youth directors secretary could probably order them for the person.

The best start that I can recommend is to contact the Conference Youth Director's office first then if that fails a local club. Anywhere there is Adventist Youth there is AY and all of our youth Pathfinders or not (or Master guides, their sponsors, instuctors, teachers.........) are eligeble to recieve recogonition for their studies.

God Bless,

We have given honors to individuals who are not even members of Pathfinders period.

Our first aid instructor and CPR instructor was given honor badges, an elderly lady who helped with our quilting honor was recognized and honored during the Sabbath morning service by our club in full dress uniform and presented with the crocheting and crocheting adv. honors.

People almost fall over backwards when they receive honors and aren't part of the club. They hold it like it's a trophy for them. Just as Pathfinders are proud of each additional patch that they receive.

If someone has completed the honor, they should be eligible to receive the honor. As Pathfinders is an outreach ministry, it should be given to them as an outreach and witnessing tool. And if someone was once involved in Pathfinders, they can submit their work to the club director that they were formerly of to receive their patch. That's my OPINION of it.

I'm trying to think back to when I had the honor book in my hands and to the best of my memory the book it'self is called the AY Honor book, not Pathfinder Honor Book. It has been a common practice where I'm from for other church members to be able to earn honors, in fact, I have known homeschoolers who use the honors to develope their curriculum.

It is the AY Honors Handbook. But all the requirements to the current honors are found here on the pathfindersonline.org website as well.

As of 2002 the name was changed to just "Honors Handbook"! This was to make it a more adaptable in other countries.

Thanks Lonny, and you would know

The last book I saw must have been the edition before that, and since they are all online, I haven't bothered to get a new book. :D
