I have wondered why there is not a crandberry colored Master Guide scarf for the Adventurer Master Guides.
There are Adventurer Master Guide star shoulder patches and Master Guide name strips with white backgrounds.
The only part of their uniform which is not Adventurer is the scarf.

Is this an item whose time has come :?: :?:

 There is an Adventurer Master Guide (MG) neckerchief! It looks very much like the regular Pathfinder MG version but without the Pathfinder class strips on it. You should be able to get is through the same channels you get your investiture supplies.

Remember that the Master Guide is free of being a class in one of the ministries. A scarf without the lower ay classes is appropriate for a Master Guide who has not earned them but; it is appropriate for a Master Guide working with any ministry to wear the Master Gude Scarf that is equal to the reflection of there earning. If you have the lower AJY classes you will/should wear the scarf with class stripes and if not then not.

Master Guides working with Pathfinders or Adventurers... are wearing a "ministry uniform" that is only a glimpse of the Master Guide Uniform and a reflection of there class and position in the ministry. The true MG uniform is without patches. It is the Forest Green coat with a MG pin on each lapel (nothing else). the proper pants or skirt and the tan shirt. The "official" head wear is the over-seas or garrison cover to match with the MV patch (now most accurately the Blue and Gold 3angles AY patch not the world patch).

Remeber that a Master Guide is just that, a Master Guide in the Youth Ministries of the church. Many specialize, and at one time there was a Junior and Senior Master Guide. This is fine and proper today as well, but the Master Guide itself transcends the individual ministries and divisions to be a Master Guide is to be a youth leader.

The blue suit for the Adventurer Directors and Master Guides looks great but some things are uniquely Master Guide.

God Bless,

Actually my thought was that the MG scarf for the Adventurers should be crandberry in color.
Now that you have mentioned class stripes, it would be a good idea to have class colors for the Adventurer Classes on it as well.

The NEW yellow Master Guide scarf was designed specifically for the Adventurers. It was voted into existence by the NAD Adventurer committee and is for those Adventurer Staff that earn the Master Guide while in Adventurer service.

The Adventurer Master Guides don't want to wear the color stripes for classes that hold no bearing on their ministry. It makes sense to me that Adventures don't were Pathfinder insignia for the same reason the Marines don't wear the Navy insignia.

I had not heard of the new YELLOW MG scarf for Adventurers.
Still seems like if all the Adventurer scarfs are crandberry that their leadership would also wear crandberry.
Now that the NAD has spoken, I will keep quiet.

BTW, Lonny - thank you for the expertise you bring to this forum :!: :!:

What if I am invested as a MG while a Pthfinder, but then move away? can I still keep the PF stuff on my MG uniform? (I am finishing mine up, hope to be done by May).

When you become a Master Guide you are able to retain your Pathfinder "stuff" that you earned up to that point. Also, hopefully you will remain active in Pathfinders and anything that you acquire in the future along the way may be retained as well. Of course, you will need to make the appropriate designation changes on your Pathfinder uniform to show your new class achievement. Congratulations!!!
