Dear Pathfinders & Master Guides,

Praise the Lord.

Greetings from Malaysia. I'm Master Guide Daniel Victor have started Pathfinder club in a new church. Currently we're looking for a good name for our club. Our church motto is Touching lives for Jesus. I need your help to suggest me names for the same.

Appreciate it.

God bless us always.

Welcome to the forum! There are many different ways to go about getting a name for your club. Some clubs just stick with their church name, such as "[Church Name] Pathfinder Club. Lots of times they will choose a specific name. Popular names usually include animals, such as "Golden Eagles", "Bobcats", or "Mountain Lions." These are some I've seen myself. Other popular types of names include Biblical cities: "Philadelphia Pathfiner Club", "Bethel Pathfinder Club", or "Pathfinders of Hebron".

These are just some ideas for you to consider. The name should be well thought out and should have a special meaning for those in your club. Let us know what your club ends up deciding!

My club got the name "Flames" when we were planning our first hike. It was hunting season, and one of the staff suggested that we all wear orange. I suggested it be the uniform color so that we'd never have to worry about that again. When we presented it to the kids they were less than thrilled. They changed it to red, and said we'd all look like we were on fire. So... Flames!

At Oshkosh last year I saw another club with a Flames shirt, so I guess we're not the only ones.

With a Motto of "Touching Lives for Jesus" have you considered a club name of "His Hand's" or Messengers?
