If there are no combative honors then archery should be removed because the bow is a weapon of war.

The bow for archery can be used as weaponry, true, but I believe any type of combat that involves an opponent will never be accepted as a skill or honor that is suitable for Pathfinders. Remember that all honors must have a spiritual application. I'm not sure what kind of spiritual lesson can be drawn from Fencing. That is also why any type of martial art or self-defense honors do not exist.

Archery can be used for recreational purposes, much in the same way that darts are used. Then again, guns can also be used for target practice and recreational purposes. I'm not sure what the reasoning was for the creation of the Archery honor, probably just because it was a very popular sport to do during summer camps and the like. Fencing and other forms of combat or self-defense or weaponry are never used in a summer camp setting.

I would propose removing the Archery honor IF there were several reports or incidents where a Pathfinder actually used this knowledge to purposefully harm others. I'm pretty sure there are none, though. The same could probably not be said with an honor such as «Target Practice with an AK-47».

Archery could also be used as a practical way to acquire food.

I'm afraid that the same practicality does not apply to fencing arms.
