I am working with 3 clubs to pilot a new honor called Letterboxing.
This is similar to Geocaching in that it is a "treasure hunt" activity, but
no gps unit is required. Pathfinders will make a personal rubber stamp, find directions to existing caches on the Letterboxing.org website, put their stamp in a log book in the cache and stamp their log book with the cache stamp. If there are additional clubs interested in piloting this new honor I can send the requirements.

That sounds like a nice honor! I'd love to see the requirements!

How are the stamps made?

Yeah, me too! Sounds like a great way to get three honors in one shot--letterboxing, geocaching (if you have a gps), and stamping!

Honour been available for a couple of years now. I have achieved it. Finding the required 10 for the basic honour was reasonable the 20 extra for advanced would stretch me too far for me in South NZ where the closest letterbox is 360km away. For the GPS honour you only have to find about 15 for the advanced. Personally I think it is too few. For the basic you only need to find 3. This is rather too simple. The requirements should be for basic find 30 for advanced find 60.
