You people on this board have inspired me to start working on my MG. (Thanks.) I too tried to download the MG requirements last week and noticed the link was broken, so I'm glad it has been fixed.

But is it completely fixed? Are there really only six sections?
Prerequisites through Fitness Lifestyle Development?

I've seen it several times... but dared not start it. Like a huge cake tempting a high school cheerleader, I shy away from it, even though my desires pull me towards it lol.

It looks like what I've always seen.

It is quite a bit to do however.

Thanks. I think I'll get started on it asap. I have already done many of the requirements as I have taught several AY classes and honors and have earned most of the required honors. I've also taught Sabbath School (Primary, Junior, Earliteen) for several years.

I do have a lot of reading to do though.

Since you're about like me... taught numerous honors and classes and Sabbath school classes... for the MG requirements that you have to earn two new honors, if you don't have it, you may want to look into the Teaching Honor. I know that there was discussion on it somewhere around here, and it's a relatively simple honor to complete IF you've already done this kind of work so far.

Thanks for the advice. I was looking at the teaching honor last week, and that's /another/ one that I almost have.

Some encouragement for those of you jsut starting Master Guide. Read over the requirements regularly, I suggest at least aq couple times a week. Pretty soon you will recognize things that will meet some of the requirements at a moments notice. For example, if you know what books you needs and your in a book store, you will wander over and pick it up. Also the honors, you may teach some of your needed honors to your Pathfinders. I'm guessing that as Staff you have already completed some of the requirements and dont really even know it. If your not sure how to complete something, talk to your Director, Area Coordinator, or Conferance Director. They will all encourage you and help you.

I've made a lot of progress, but there's still a littel ways to go. I'm into the second week of the Physical Fitness/Aerobics program. Two and half months to go on that.

I also have not yet started the Heritage Award, and I still need the Basic Training class (it was not offered in my conference last year) as well as three semiars (also not offered last year).

I'm planning to teach the 28 Fundamental Beliefs to my Junior/Earliteen class this quarter. I'm going to use the 'It's My Choice" book recommended by Mark O'Ffill in another thread. It's a ten-week program.

I also have not finished the "Christ the Way" Encounter reading (I'm still somewhere in August), and I need to keep a 4-week devotional journal.

Anyhow, I have a plan, and I expect to be invested sometime this spring.
