Hi everybody,

I just like to ask this question if there is really a Master Guide Hymn, it is because I have read it in several web pages and I have no idea regarding about it. If there is, is anyone of us here know where to avail the music sheet or its instrumental, thank you. God bless everyone.

I've never heard of one, but maybe some division other than the NAD has something like that in place.

I'm currently in the Euro-Asian Division (I've been here for about 8 months) and have never heard of anything in this division thus far. I've was in the Euro-African Division for 3 weeks of Pathfinder training in 2008, but didn't hear anything there either (though I may not have been there long enough).

I heard adventurers song but not MG song.
I translated PF song to our language cebuano.

Oi Dasig nga giya kami
Ug sulugoon sa Dios
Nagamatinumanon
Sa maayo ug matuod
Mensahe imantala
ngadto sa kalibutan
Si Jesus Mubalik
Pagkuha nimug nako.

https://masterguides.swadventist.net Here is a PDF with the sheet music and words for the MG hymn.

https://masterguides.swadventist.net/si ... eTrack.mp3 This link takes you to the Mp3 accompaniment track. Watch out for the 12 bar introduction. Be sure to listen for the high chime tones playing the melody.

There is no official Master Guide hymn in English. The Spanish-speaking divisions do indeed have an official hymn with music and lyrics. Someone here provided a link to the Spanish hymn and its translation, yet, it is not an official hymn in English.

At the site listed above, click the tab labeled "Resources." On the Resources page go to Emblems. There you will find listings for Master Guide Song sheet music and Master Guide Song sound track MP3.

Argenta, I checked out the link and the translation to English is spectacular. I noticed, though that in Spanish, they have slightly modified the second stanza. The original hymn begins with «Esta lucha la inició Lutero Warren ...», but this version repeats the same line as the first stanza. Is this something the Texas Conference decided to change?

The North American Division has now adopted an official Master Guide hymn in English. It is a translation of the official Spanish hymn and uses the same music.
