My sister and I have been volunteering at a nursing home for two years now. We are a part of pathfinders and that's our community work. The residents there love us and we have formed a lot of close releashonships because of volunteering for a simple 3 hours a day.

That's really cool. I always thought it'd be cool to volunteer in a place like that...

It's hard work, but it's rewarding how many relashonships you have from it.

My club has had groups go to assisted living facilities and nursing homes as an outreach opportunity. It is always fun to share time with the residents.

Singing, playing games, interacting or just talking help the pathfinders learn skills and help out others.
